Tryouts for the 2011 Season

11u, 12u, and 14u Travel Tryouts -Allegheny Fields
11u, (Starting 5th grade, or 11 after 30-April)
12u, (Starting 6th grade, or 12 after 30-April)
14u (Starting 8th grade, or 14 after 30-April)

11u and 12u: (Check-in 2:00 to 2:30 BOTH days)
Saturday, August 28, 2011       11u and 12u Players ONLY 2:30pm to 4:30pm; and
Sunday, August 29, 2011:        11u and 12u Players ONLY 2:30pm to 4:30pm
Allegheny Bronco Field #2

Player is required to, and should only; attend 1 of the 2 dates

14u: (Check-in 4:30 to 5:00 BOTH days)

Saturday, August 28, 2011:     14u Players ONLY 5:00pm to 7:00pm, and
Sunday, August 29, 2011:         14u Players ONLY 5:00pm to 7:00pm

Player is required to, and should only; attend 1 of the 2 dates

ALL 13u FEEDER TEAM TRYOUTS –GCHS &GNHS Varsity Fields
13u (Starting 7th grade, or 13 after 30-April)

13u Programs will run concurrently at GCHS and GNHS: (Check-in 3:30 ALL days)

Saturday, September 11, 2011: 13u ONLY at Grayslake Central Varsity High School _4:00pm*
Saturday, September 11, 2011: 13u ONLY at Grayslake North Varsity High School_4:00pm**

Sunday, September 12, 2011: 13u ONLY _Grayslake North High School Time TBD_4:00pm*
Sunday, September 12, 2011: 13u ONLY Grayslake Central High School _Time TBD_4:00pm**

**Players living in Grayslake North High School district only.
Player is required to, and should only; attend 1 session

NOTE:To be eligible for lower age level due to birthday (all ages)...Participants must 1) Attend lower level try-out time/date; or 2) Participate in actual Grade try-out date and time. If not selected by upper level team, participant will become eligible for lower level consideration. NO participant is guaranteed a roster spot. Evaluation Scores ranked vs. peer group(s) reviewed by the Baseball Committee will determine all selections

Mandatory Parent Meetings:

Monday, 8/16 - 11, 12, and 14u parents Meeting - GCHS - 8:00 pm *room 2040
Monday, 8/23 - 11, 12, and 14u parents Meeting -GNHS - 8:00 pm *room C105.

Tuesday, 9/7 13u parent meeting GCHS - 8:00 pm
Tuesday, 8/24 13u parent meeting GNHS – 8:00pm *room C105

Players must reside within the Grayslake (#127) Community High School Boundaries (Central or North)
Players need to bring their baseball glove, bat, and spikes/cleats/tennis shoes
These WILL NOT be provided
Bronco level will offer teams at 11U &12U. (# Of teams each age TBD)
Pony level will offer teams at 13U & 14U. (# Of teams each age TBD)
Details on Travel Baseball and Selection/Team Formation will be available at parent Meetings, on-line, and at Tryout(s) time
No Fee for Evaluation
